 I give this movie 5 stars - out of a 4 star rating. It's a really well-done movie. I'm just sorry I haven't read the books yet. I give the 5th star to the movie because of all the controversy it's brought to the table for no reason. Where I live, certain people believe that by watching a movie, you will change your views on religions altogether and rise up to destroy Christianity. I know, I know, that's silly. But, some people believe that here. They also believe that your eternal soul is damned to hell if you gamble - or play McDonalds Monopoly. Yet that is another story.

 There's a reason that Stephen Colbert's I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU) is a must-have for your holiday season. That reason is... that it's a really good book. It's amazing to read the thoughts that come out of Stephen's head.

 While looking through the archives of video at the office, I stumbled across some live footage of my old band, THE BAD TASTES. This is a rare performance that has a lot of history to it. On this night, we had the cops called on us and had to evacuate 100 people from a hotel because we were playing - and our drummer got naked on stage. This caused a huge uproar on message boards over the next few weeks where people claimed that we single-handedly killed the music scene in North Alabama with our performance. Ahhh, the memories. |
