 So, the other day I was pumping gas, and I came across this CD taped up to the gas pump. It's becoming a trend in the South to litter public areas with Christian propaganda (like flyers, pamphlets, and CDs). I decided to take it and give it a listen. Not the best stuff on earth, but it's interesting. I mean INTERESTING in the sense that the guy talking sounds like a muppet.

 I'm sure that most of you haven't heard of THE LAUGHING MAN yet, but this album is surprisingly good. It creeps up on you, pokes you in the side, and says HEY, LISTEN TO ME, DAMNIT! If you like THE MARS VOLTA, DAVID BOWIE, RED HOT CHILI PEPERS, and/or SUBLIME, then you're going be be happy with THE LAUGHING MAN.

 The Cheetah is a collection of songs and musical experiments that were created between 2000 and 2004 by Mikael Jorgensen, Chris Girard and Greg O’Keeffe, with guests Rob Mazurek and Noel Kupersmith. Holy crap. I like Pronto. It's strange, yet awkwardly beautiful music. I have been listening to their earlier album over and over again, and when this album got released (LAST WEEK) I started playing this one again and again.
