 I have the greatest friends in the world. This Christmas, Bob (from the message board) decided to get me some issues of the greatest magazine on the market. It's called GIRLS AND CORPSES. It's exactly the type of magazine that I've wanted to make. Seriously, if this website had the time, money, staff, and motivation, we would have went in this direction. You would see lots of girls in bikinis, lots of fake corpses, lots of reviews about horror movies (speaking of which, go see HATCHET, HALLOWEEN, AND I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE), interviews with great underground cartoonists, and a bunch of other stuff that I thought the world wasn't ready for.
As far as I know, there are only 3 printed issues of GIRLS AND CORPSES magazine right now. I guess they are still testing the water to see how well this magazine is going to work. Hell, maybe they are having problems with people doing their jobs over there (not unlike I have at this site). There could be many reasons why there's not more issues. But I will assure them that I shall buy more copies when they are available.
Now, I know what you're thinking. You're probably saying to yourself:HEY, CAN THEY REALLY DO THAT? ISN'T IT ILLEGAL TO HAVE REAL CORPSES AND REAL GIRLS TOGETHER IN THE SAME ROOM? Well, that just goes to show you that you need to start thinking a little bit more before you speak. It's fake corpses. It's real girls. It's a whole lotta fun.
The newest issue has an interview and photo shoot with the amazing Sig Haig (B-movie icon) that's done in 3-d! That's unbelievable! And they give you a pair of 3-d glasses so you can see the greatness of the shoot!
I think that's enough of my gibbering about this. You need to go out and buy copies of this magazine. Support the people who are helping keep the underground strange and awkward.
