THE BIGGEST LETDOWN and THE DEAD WORKERS PARTY are looking for actors (with or without experience) for a short film that we are making over the next 4 to 5 weeks. Do you think you have what it takes? Then keep reading...

I am putting the finishing touches on a script which I've been working diligently on for the past few months. This is going to be an epic battle with plenty of blood, guts, and action sequences. This is also one of the first major projects we are shooting with the new RED ONE camera. That's the camera image at the top of this article.

Anyways, I'm looking for 9 to 10 physically fit men and one woman who range in age from 18-29 to be in this film. The entire thing will be shot in 2 locations in Huntsville, Alabama - so it would be ideal if you live in that area. This is not a paying gig, but the finished product would look great on anyone's resume. Since we are shooting it on the RED ONE camera, one of our goals is to showcase it when talking about how incredible the image quality is.

The title of this short film is tentatively called MASSACRE AT RUBBERTREE LANE, but that's just the working title, and it could change at any point. This is just the start of a great film-opportunity here in Huntsville. With the Dead Workers Party, we are going to be working on independent films that previously people didn't think would be possible. I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to work with these people, and I think that we all are going to be accomplishing some great film projects.

So, if you are interested in becoming a part of this or any other project, just email me or visit the DEAD WORKERS website. Again, we're planning on shooting this short film within the next 4 to 5 weeks, but there's a lot of pre-production we need to cover. We're jamming as much action-oriented fight-sequences as we can in about 10 minutes, so that's something you may need to consider.
