I was really worried/confused/happy when this package showed up on my desk. I didn't know what to think. Would this music rock? Would it suck balls? Would it make me want to hang myself? Well, inside the beautiful packaging was an album by a band called Existant. Who are they? I've never heard of them. Well, there's a pretty girl on the cover. It must be worth a listen to.
When I first heard all of this, I wasn't really into it. I was expecting hard rock, and I was getting snooze rock. This is the kind of music that you'll hear in elevators when they want to show you how edgy they are, but don't want to offend people. Well, Mr. Elevator, I'm offended. Bring me some rock 'n roll. Give me something to bump 'n grind to. Let me hear a band what makes me want to bang my head in happiness, not shake my head in shame.
I'm really trying to get myself into this album, but it's just not working. I've listened to it over and over again, and it's just not doing anything for me. Some of the tracks that are really not to my liking are DEBUTANTE, KIMBERLY, I LOVE YOU, RUNNIN', and OPEN BOOK. But then there's some bonus tracks, too. I'm not going to comment on those because technically they are a bonus to this album and if you're not happy with the rest of the album, then you won't like the bonus stuff. Sorry.
Check out the band's website and hear the music for yourself.
