Lone Wolf Tattoo and Horror - good weekend |

 Recently, Kevin and I attended the Lone Wolf Tattoo and Horror Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. We had been meaning to go for a few years now, and this was the first chance we really got to do it. I'm glad we did, but we both spent an assload of money on this thing.
 Some of the key guests at this convention included Gunner Hansen (the ORIGINAL Leatherface), Lloyd Kaufman, Danielle Harris, Sid Haig, Jason Mews, Jon Dugan ("Grandpa" from Texas Chainsaw Massacre), and 4 or 5 people who played JASON in Friday the 13th throughout the years. It was a pretty cool vibe being there. There were tons of artists and memorabilia sellers at this event, as well. I guess it's a good place to make some money if you have some hard-to-find items. Kevin and I were hanging out with the whole crew and meeting some people we've wanted to meet for years now. On the top of that list would be Gunner Hansen. He's really a nice guy and very approachable. Lloyd Kaufman was in regular form by telling everyone to watch Poultrygeist (a great movie, by the way). We presented him with an autographed picture taken back in Chicago with Lloyd, Kevin and myself. He loved it and hung the picture on the wall behind the merchandise table. That was pretty cool.
 So, all in all it was a great event. I'll probably be there next year and the years following, too. Maybe next time the Biggest Letdown will actually get a booth or something and we can sell our merchandise and talk to people about whatever they want to talk about. I think we're very approachable people, too. You all might like to meet us. |
