The newest album from the Red Stick Ramblers is freakin' great. There. Done. Do I need to go on? They are a great cajun/Country band from Baton Rouge, LA. They've got a great style and awesome stage presence. If you don't own this album yet, then you're missing out.
The Red Stick Ramblers first got noticed in this world for their song MADE IN THE SHADE, which is a song about a local moonshine maker in Louisiana. Great stuff. Great song. The music video for that song was played everywhere. But that was the last album. THIS album, though, it simply awesome. From the pure cajun/French songs such as Nonc' Yorick and La Calse de Meche, to the pure Country/bluegrass songs such as Why Now Baby and My Suitcase is Always Packed. All of these songs are great.
So, Bravo, gentlemen. You have a great album here. Good packaging, good tunes. Keep up the good work.
Check out their website!
