 I am still blown away at the sounds of the CHINESE STARS newest album entitled HEAVEN ON SPEED DIAL (coming out OCTOBER 20TH). This is a down and dirty rock 'n roll album if I've ever heard one. It's great. Lots of drums, lots of guitars, an awesome synthesizer, and lots of head-thumping rock. This album will make you want to scream and shout and run around like you just won the car from Subway restaurants SCRABBLE game.
Since I know you have to wait another month and a half before this album is out, you'll just have to take my word on it right now. It's good. It's really, REALLY good. And, how many of you would like to bet that these guys are even better live? I'm sure that would be a show not to miss.
I've decided to summarize the Chinese Stars in a single line - but I'm having trouble choosing what that line will be. Here are some that I've come up with so far:
The Chinese Stars are like this years Swine Flu - they're not going away and some people are going to die from them.
The Chinese Stars are allowed to come over to my house and sleep with my entire family - my dog included.
The Chinese Stars are greater than any other band on the planet at playing the Sitar.
The Chinese Stars are really good. They also are learning to make waffles.
If knowing the Chinese Stars is a goal in my life, then I want to accomplish that goal soon.
Sometimes when I use the bathroom, I hum the song HOUSE IS BURNING by the Chinese Stars.
I would kill someone that doesn't agree with me that the Chinese Stars are a good band.
You may pick any one of those quotes to properly express how we here at the Biggest Letdown feel about THE CHINESE STARS.
