 I'm super excited about this new album by Sarah Fimm. It's good. It's different. It's good AND different. It's hard to describe WHITE BIRDS as anything but beautiful. Sure, that sounds stupid, but that's how this album gets you. It creeps up on you from behind, taps you on the shoulder, hands you a cup of hot chocolate and says HEY, LET'S ALL GO TO THE MOVIES AND LAUGH A BIT.
The packaging for WHITE BIRDS is also creative. I'm ever-amazed as the creativity that goes into making CD cases jump up and catch your attention.
There are only 6 songs on this album, but they're worth it. A note-worthy song would be LET IT RUN. Because this album is so short, I can't spend a lot of time talking about it. That's just the way it is. Give me a double-live album from Ted Nugent to review, and I'll give you a damn book of a review to read. But, 6 songs gets you the quick comments. C'mon people, check out this album!
